Christmas Light Hanging Around Loomis, Granite Bay and Lincoln, by Neighborhood

We live and work in Loomis, and most of our Decembers are spent within a few miles of it: the gated lanes and acre lots of Granite Bay, the golf course streets and newer tracts of Lincoln, and the custom places tucked back off the road here at home. Every one of those neighborhoods asks something different of a light crew. One association wants decorations down by a set day. Another is strict about how wiring shows. A third has no association at all, and you can do as you please. Roofs change too, tile in one place and old wood trim in the next, and so do the trees. A forty-year-old oak takes a wrap that a sapling in a new yard can’t. So we wrote a page for each neighborhood we know well, with what we’ve been able to confirm about its rules, its houses and how lights read there after dark.
